The three villas forming the Villa S. Pio Hotel, which were once private dwellings, peer at one another through the leafy branches of the secular pine trees that offer a majestic shade to the pleasant garden, oasis of peace and tranquillity and welcome the guests just like in a private home where an atmosphere of past times lingers.
Embellished with marble, plastering and decorum, it represents a unique example of tradition and elegance. Vault ceilings, Empire style furniture, oriental carpets and antique paintings blend in a serenely enwrapped harmony.
From the terraces of some rooms one gets a glimpse of rooftops and Roman gardens, aristocratic residences and embassies and unforgettable sunsets may be enjoyed. In the Mediterranean garden, having palms, magnolia, bougainvillaea and camellia, a spacious, transparent gazebo enhances breakfast, allowing one to look out at the orange and lemon trees, exhilarated by the scent of bloomed camellia, oleander and wisteria.
The rooms have antique furniture that the decorum exalts, fresco paintings and baroque drapery, the subtle and warm pastel colours reminiscent of the antique Roman houses of the Palatino neighbours, are a refuge of calmness in which one enjoys the nocturnal silence that cradles a peaceful sleep.
The bathrooms have lavish marble, personally chosen by the owners in the centennial quarries of Carrara and modern Jacuzzi facilities to relax amidst the bubbles of the water massage.
